  1. Got it. So, am I good to go to start the array? Or, is there anything else I should try to move over (even if one-at-a-time) first to make life easier?
  2. Thanks Jon. I installed 6.9.2 on a fresh USB and was able to access the GUI without issue. So, I went ahead and reformatted my flash drive, installed 6.9.2, my pro key and "just for kicks" also copied: file: config/super.dat my shares folder I booted up and I am able to get to the GUI through IP address. Disk assignments are all correct. Was it OK to copy over my shares folder? And, is there anything else I need to do before I start the array? Or, does this mean I am good to go? Or, are there any other configuration files I should move over first?
  3. Thank you. If you would not mind just clarifying/validating the steps will work with no data loss: reformat flash drive and create new with USB creator tool copy ONLY the license key over from my backup (NO other files or folders) startup server and assign drives in same location as previous Done Or, if easier, just tell be the bare minimum of config files to move over and I could do that first. Then, if it does not work, try the clean install method
  4. Well... I just reformatted flash drive and downgraded back to v5.0.5 and it is working fine again. So, I assume it must be something in a file or the drive causing the issue, no?
  5. Can you be a bit more specific? As long as I don't lose my data, I am happy to lose everything else. If someone could tell me which configuration files or folders I MUST keep to ensure no data loss, I'll happily do so
  6. I'm still stuck here. I've tried booting into Safe Mode w/GUI and still am unable to get to the GUI either on the server itself or via IP address through another computer on the network. Is there anything else someone can suggest?
  7. Update: I read in another post that someone was having a similar issue with 6.9.2 but solved it by rolling back to 6.8.3. So, I reformatted by flash drive and tried installing 6.8.3 but I'm getting the same result. Server boots, connects to the network with static IP but I am unable to access web-GUI. So... still stumped i am able to boot the server into GUI mode but it opens to a blank screen. Should it be opening automatically to the main unraid screen? Or, do I need to type in an address? i can navigate the web from it.
  8. No That's what I find to be so bizarre. When running v5 I always accessed the web-GUI using the IP: http://192.168.7.46/Main Post-upgrade the unraid server is using the same IP address but I can't get to it.
  9. I have 4GB of RAM. I never needed much because i only use the server for storage (no transcoding or any other heavy lifting). Is that enough? I did run diagnostics. Is there anything specific from it that would be helpful for me to upload? tower-diagnostics-20211004-1451.zip
  10. My UNRAID server has been the definition of "set it and forget it" since I built it years ago. So, of course I just had to muck it up. I upgraded to version 6.9.2 this morning and when I boot the server it starts up and connects to the network but I cannot access the web GUI from my browser. The server's IP address is identical to before the upgrade and I can see the Tower flash drive on my network from my laptop. I'm using Chrome browser from a Mac laptop but I've also tried Safari. Any thoughts or suggestions?
  11. Currently has 12 drives installed (capacity of 15) with a total of 19.5TB storage. Has worked flawlessly since the day I built it so I've not touched it since then, aside from replacing drives as/if they failed. It has been the definition of "set it and forget it." Therefore, it is still running UnRAID v5 Enclosure/Case: Nexus Prominent9 https://www.quietpc.com/nx-prominent9 Mother Board: SUPERMICRO MBD-X8SIL-F-O Xeon X3400 / L3400 / Core i3 series Dual LAN Micro ATX Server Board w/ Remote Management https://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon3000/3400/X8SIL.cfm RAM G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) Mobile Rack (3 installed): SuperMicro CSE-M35T-1B https://www.supermicro.com/en/products/accessories/mobilerack/CSE-M35T-1B.php CPU: iIntel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 550 @ 3.20GHz - 3.2 GHz Too heavy to ship. 13. I am selling my fully operational and fully functioning unRAID server. I've downsized homes and as a result built a smaller ITX server to replace this one. Everything is in excellent condition with zero issues. Also, unRAID license is included. So... here is what it's got: Case: Nexus Prominent 9 Mobo: SuperMicro MBD-X8SIL-F-O CPU: Intel i3 550 3.2GHz RAM: 4GB Kingston (Single Stick) HDD: (7) 1.5TB + (5) 2TB = 20.5TB. Parity Drive is 2TB so array is 18.5TB usable Mobile Racks: (3) SuperMicro CSE-M35T-1B (fans replaced with Nexus DF1209SL-3) Card: SuperMicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 As you can in the above list there are still 3 empty drive bays for additional expansion. I'll be uploading pictures later this evening when I get home from the office. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. Make me an offer
  14. No. pkg was a typo. Prior to using unmenu to install apcupsd through package manager I tried manually installing the plg file from the plugins page. I downloaded it, removed the .txt extension, placed into /boot/config/plugins and rebooted. When that failed I removed it from /boot/config/plugins and tried adding it to /boot/plugins without success. I'm probably did something wrong but don't know what...
