dave
My M1015 died last week and I'm in need of a new one. Does anyone have one for sale? Would need it flashed to IT Mode. Thanks! Dave Quote Link to comment

StevenD
I did too. After reading your thread, I decided to get one for a spare. Quote Link to comment
Fireball3
Do you guys use cooling for those controllers? In the specs they (LSI, DELL) mention a certain air flow rate. I suppose in a rack server you have those conditions but in a common tower build it is mostly not the case. Quote Link to comment
grandprix
After feeling how hot these got when only upgrading the firmware, I would definitely have cooling if I weren't running these in a server case Quote Link to comment
StevenD
Ive got a supermicro rackmount with 6 fans. I think Ill be ok. Quote Link to comment
dave
I'll be adding a fan... I have a single 160mm in the front of my small case. I'll just add a 80mm pointed at the heatsink of the card. Quote Link to comment
mr-hexen
Why not get a chipset fan and mount it directly to the heat sink. Quote Link to comment
