How to Hide a Hard Drive from unRAID (Running unRAID as DomU)

Recommended Posts

I am currently experimenting with running unRAID as a DomU. As of this post I am using Mint Linux with KVM but I am toying with the idea of testing Xen as well. Anyway, I passed through my motherboard SATA controller to unRAID and everything is working as it should; however, when I go to unMENU it shows the following lines in the syslog:

Jul 29 12:39:06 Pithos unmenu[4503]: Unrecognized state, drive vda (set spinind to -1 for this drive): drive state is: unknown

Jul 29 12:43:09 Pithos unmenu[4503]: Unrecognized state, drive vda (set spinind to -1 for this drive): drive state is: unknown

I am assuming that it is seeing the SSD hard drive that is running the Mint Dom0 that is not being passed through to unRAID. Is there a way to hide this drive from showing up in the logs?
