64 bit UPnP/Mediatomb?

Recommended Posts

I'd like to enable UPnP on my unRAID 6b6 box and I was directed to the nice instructions about installing Mediatomb at this link:

However, the repository for Mediatomb doesn't mention any 64 bit binaries.

Some binaries are listed as ...32, while others don't say.  A binary that might work with my ARM processor is

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/mediatomb/mediatomb-static-0.11.0-r1-linux-uclibc-armv4.tar.gz

What are people doing for UPnP on the 64 bit unRAID?

Thanks,

Dennis

Good question.  The only UPnP server for audio that I have tried is AssetUPnP for Linux which has a 64 bit version.

Although primarily for Debian, I have run the 64 bit version briefly under Slackware with unRAID and it worked fine, but that was during the beta development of AssetUPnP for Linux.  I am not currently running 64 bit unRAID here, so I have parked this temporarily.  (I still use Twonky Media Server - 32 bit).
