I have zero experience with IRQ. Is that a problem?
  3. Hi, I am getting IRQ16 "Nobody cared" found in the Fix Common Problems checker. Can someone please take a look at my diagnostics to find out why? I am terrible at figuring out this kind of stuff. I did recently install a second LSI RAID Card (which is working fine!) - could that bet it? I read somewhere it's reserved for RAID Cards? Thanks in advance. diabeetus-diagnostics-20180802-1315.zip
  4. Could someone help me out here? My VMs tab is blank, but my VM's are up, however I can't manage them. Diagnostics log attached, I'm not really sure where to start? Thanks! diabeetus-diagnostics-20180415-1407.zip
  5. I'm wondering if someone can help me, or even if this is supported. I'm relatively new to KVM Snapshots. I have tried this on Windows Server 2016 Windows Server 2012 R2 Things I have tried: virsh domfsfreeze DC1 This command gives me: Froze 2 filesystem(s) But in Windows, I see events such as: Event ID 8: The flush and hold writes operation on volume C: timed out while waiting for a release writes command. Event ID 12293: Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error calling a routine on a Shadow Copy Provider {3629d4ed-ee09-4e0e-9a5c-6d8ba2872aef}. Routine details CommitSnapshots [hr = 0x80004004, Operation aborted]. Operation: Executing Asynchronous Operation Context: Current State: DoSnapshotSet Event ID 12340: Volume Shadow Copy Error: VSS waited more than 40 seconds for all volumes to be flushed. This caused volume \\?\Volume{f610b574-cfcc-40c7-8aa2-5be2d28b8525}\ to timeout while waiting for the release-writes phase of shadow copy creation. Trying again when disk activity is lower may solve this problem. Operation: Executing Asynchronous Operation Context: Current State: flush-and-hold writes Volume Name: \\?\Volume{f610b574-cfcc-40c7-8aa2-5be2d28b8525}\ Event ID: 8194: Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error calling a routine on a Shadow Copy Provider {3629d4ed-ee09-4e0e-9a5c-6d8ba2872aef}. Routine details CommitSnapshots [hr = 0x80004004, Operation aborted ]. Operation: Executing Asynchronous Operation Context: Current State: DoSnapshotSet I also tried virsh snapshot-create --quiesce DC1 Which gave me: error: Flag 'VIR_DOMAIN_SNAPSHOT_CREATE_DISK_ONLY' is required by flag 'VIR_DOMAIN_SNAPSHOT_CREATE_QUIESCE' Google has failed me here. I'm just after a snapshot of the VM that Quiesce's the guest! Has anyone had any luck with this before? VSS is giving me hell, and I realize that's a Windows problem but I have never had this kind of issue in VMWare or Hyper-V before. Am I doing something wrong? I have guest agent v7.3.2 installed, I have tried earlier versions as well, to no avail. Is this just not possible/supported? Thanks in advance.
  6. Do we still need to do the changes from Page 1 to get hardlinks working in rc3?
  7. I found it, mounted the IMG, removed my files, rebooted and I was good. What a weird problem, I'm quite proud of myself that I created such a weird issue for myself, as always I learned a lot
  8. 99% Sure I found the problem. My old VM that I used as my main PC kept trying to start, and it was pushing through devices from the old setup. I have disabled VM's, but where can I find the XML files so I can manually delete them to stop the VM from starting up/delete it? Thanks
  9. Hi Squid, Thanks for your help. The specs are: Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H i5 6400 Enermax ENP500AST Tomahawk2 500W ATX PSU Kingston Technology HyperX FURY Black 32 GB Data: 4x WD Red 3TB, 1x 6TB WD Green, 1x 4TB Seagate Baracuda Parity: 1x 6TB WD Green Cache: Crucial M500 SSD I know the RAM is good, as it came out of the previous system, as with the HDD's. I will re-seat all the add-on cards now and report back.
  10. Hi, I moved my unRAID disks and USB key to a new machine. It boots fine and can see all my drives. The mistake I think I made was that I now only have 1 cache drive instead of 3, but there was no important data on the cache drives so I just formatted it and created a new cache. Now, whenever I try to make an appdata share, it just says "Share appdata was deleted". I get the same error if I make a cache only, or non-cached share, and no matter what name I use. When I go into my docker tab I get this Warning: parse_ini_file(/boot/config/docker.cfg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php on line 38 Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'UnexpectedValueException' with message 'RecursiveDirectoryIterator::__construct(/boot/config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-user): failed to open dir: No such file or directory' in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php:62 Stack trace: #0 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(62): RecursiveDirectoryIterator->__construct('/boot/config/pl...', 4096) #1 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(91): DockerTemplates->listDir('/boot/config/pl...', 'xml') #2 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(220): DockerTemplates->getTemplates('all') #3 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(329): DockerTemplates->getTemplateValue('linuxserver/cou...', 'Registry') #4 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(300) : eval()'d code(70): DockerTemplates->getAllInfo() #5 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPage in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php on line 62 I get this error on the "apps" page; Warning: parse_ini_file(/boot/config/docker.cfg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php on line 38 Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'UnexpectedValueException' with message 'RecursiveDirectoryIterator::__construct(/boot/config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-user): failed to open dir: No such file or directory' in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php:62 Stack trace: #0 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(62): RecursiveDirectoryIterator->__construct('/boot/config/pl...', 4096) #1 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(91): DockerTemplates->listDir('/boot/config/pl...', 'xml') #2 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(220): DockerTemplates->getTemplates('all') #3 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(329): DockerTemplates->getTemplateValue('linuxserver/cou...', 'Registry') #4 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php(51): DockerTemplates->getAllInfo() #5 /usr/local/src/wrap_post.php(17): include('/usr/local/emht...') #6 {main in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php on line 62 When I browse to \\HM-UR\Flash I can see the share but it's empty. Infact all of my shares show empty, but I can see the files there if I browse to them from the web config, so I know my data is good. I ran a parity check before I made the change and it found no errors. I plugged the drive into my Windows machine and ran checkdisk on it. It found some errors, I could browse the files from Windows and open configs up, it all looked good. My "Dashboard" page is blank, too. I have attached my diagnostic report. Can anyone help, please? Seems my data is there, but I need some kind of config reset or something? Thank you. hm-ur-diagnostics-20160723-1607.zip
  11. What I'm referring to is that passing through my integrated Audio controller causes issues, but when I pass through my USB Audio device I have no problems. It looks like you are not using hyper-thread pairs <cputune> <vcpupin vcpu='0' cpuset='1'/> <vcpupin vcpu='1' cpuset='2'/> <vcpupin vcpu='2' cpuset='3'/> </cputune> Check your thread pairs in settings system devices. your pairs will be 0 ------4 physical core 1 1 ------5 physical core 2 2 ------6 physical core 3 3 ------7 physical core 4 Only use pairs, do not use one hyperthread of a core or else you will get latency. So if you use 1 also use 5. If you assign 5 to something else that physical core 2 is split between 2 different processes and will be a performance hit. It has no relationship to the load on the cores so your max load being only 50% isnt an indictation your vcpu assignments are okay. I would try to pin emulator tasks to another core not used by the vm aswell. It helps alot of people get better performance. read dlandon's excellent post http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=49051.msg470454#msg470454 Thanks for the assistance, but my CPU does not support hyper threading
  12. What I'm referring to is that passing through my integrated Audio controller causes issues, but when I pass through my USB Audio device I have no problems.
  13. Thanks. I did this. It has made somewhat of a difference but it's still not perfect. I have USB headset and the audio out of that is 100% perfect, so that's weird?
  14. Having problems with Audio. I can't figure this out. I have everything in UnRAID working perfectly except Audio. When I play music and even system sounds I get random micro cuts in the audio, static noises and pops/clicks, along with the "underwater" sound but only for a micro second, it's never prolonged but is always noticeable. I don't think it's the MSI problem, becuase of this; it says MSI Enable-. lspci -vvv 00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H HD Audio (rev 31) Subsystem: ASRock Incorporation Sunrise Point-H HD Audio Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx- Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx- Latency: 32 Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 16 Region 0: Memory at df340000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K] Region 4: Memory at df320000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K] Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 3 Flags: PMEClk- DSI- D1- D2- AuxCurrent=55mA PME(D0-,D1-,D2-,D3hot+,D3cold+) Status: D0 NoSoftRst+ PME-Enable- DSel=0 DScale=0 PME- Capabilities: [60] MSI: Enable- Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit+ Address: 0000000000000000 Data: 0000 Kernel driver in use: vfio-pci I have an i5-6600 with cores 1, 2 and 3 passed through to my Windows 10 VM, Core 0 is assigned to other VM's.
