  1. Just updated 10 minutes ago, reboot and hangs on Starting Array, that's all she wrote, anyway to back out?
  2. Sure would be pretty cool to have a plugin for the CAM controls for lights in the NZXT water coolers and the HUE+ lights. Now it can only be controlled through Windows. Just a thought. ~ kristisdad
  3. All fine except I can't get to the apps tab, I'm getting this error: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message '[Array2XML] Illegal character in tag name. tag: @attributes in node: Config' in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/xmlHelpers.php:100 Stack trace: #0 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/xmlHelpers.php(107): Array2XML::convert('Config', Array) #1 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/xmlHelpers.php(56): Array2XML::convert('Container', Array) #2 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/helpers.php(312): Array2XML::createXML('Container', Array) #3 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php(287): makeXML(Array) #4 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php(1048): DownloadApplicationFeed() #5 /usr/local/src/wrap_post.php(17): include('/usr/local/emht...') #6 {main} thrown in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/xmlHelpers.php on line 100 Any ideas? Yeah, try updating every once in awhile!
  4. Got me, I guess the three minute rule. Shut it down, walk away, take a break, power up and voila, all fine in Unraid world.
  5. I updated to 6.1.9 about an hour ago, the apps (I don't see an appstore) tab shows all my previous dockers as "DOCKER NOT ENABLED". I don't see any comparable apps the replace the ones that are not enabled. How do I enable my Dockers?, Dockers in setting show enabled. I wish there was a restore. ~kristisdad
  6. Best all around I've found is the HD6450. Most unfriendly I've found is the Radeon R7 240, Mid Range I like the GT720 has some quirks (sound HDMI). Now I strickly use the 6450's.
  7. I use Kodi at home and Plex outside my network. I tried emby, but don't like the "bloat" to my files. I got rid of it. Kodi is great in my Sony Android TV and my favorite feature is being able to tell it to create playlists say episodes 5 through 10 in Season 5 and not have to touch the remote for hours/days, just let it play away. Then I have the other toys setup on various tvs, a raspberry pi, minix, AT2, Roku3, I don't know if I could settle with one, always updating, trying this or that, something new all the time. My favorite toys, I just love this modern tech.
  8. These are my xml files, basically I did nothing other than the basic setup. (I changed the xml to txt files so it would upload.) Win10.txt OpenELEC.txt LinuxMint.txt
  9. I'm sorry for the delay, I'll post them this evening after I get home from work. I have noticed a common problem in my testing of many cards and in the posts that I've read, maybe this is just curious to VM's. Whenever I have changed cards, (I started running 3 systems two live 6.1.6 and one on a test bench), either amd 5450 to amd R7 240? (from memory) to amd6450 to nvidia, or say nividia 610 to nvidia720/nividia 730, I notice problems with audio and/or video as if the Windows VM or Linux VM won't release the old drivers in the image or update to the current drivers, but a "clean/fresh" install will insert the proper drivers and do OK as long as you stick with them, however, once you decide to change them out for a different card (or you try to switch them between VM's and/or switch them back you may be out of luck when it comes to resolution, and often you will get the red line through the audio speaker in windows that says "no playback device" attached. I don't have the perfect pair yet, but I keep trying. I'm hoping 6.2 will address some of this driver stuff.
  10. Wow, I find that really strange. I'm running the same pair and after many pairs thought I found the best match I could, Nividia GT730 with my Windows 10 using seabios and q35, it took awhile for the drivers to catch up but, on re-boot, not a hiccup. I use my AMD 6450 card for Linux Mint and OpenELEC, same with seabios and q35. Had to turn on ACS, but that's OK. As with just about everyone else, the only problem I have is with a forced shut-down, I have to re-start the whole system. Linux Mint doesn't seem to play well with the Nvidia GT730, so I keep them setup as above. Was fresh install for all VM's.
  11. GPU questions? I've tried the GT610 route...freezes up on reboot, tried the GT720 route...no sound with usb. Which cards are proving themselves...I'm looking at GT750Ti (kinda pricey, but..), GT730, at this point I just hate throwing more cash at a nvidia card. Other choices in the amd might be 5450 or 6450. Are the amd cards proving more reliable for Openelec, I don't see much otherwise. Any input appreciated ~ Dave
  12. My uBuntu vm says I'm out of space. I allocated 10G and believe it said I could allocate more later if needed...it's needed! I can't find where to allocate more space. I'd tried editing the vm in advanced mode, but I don't see it. Maybe a sign of old age! ~ Dave
  13. That did the trick, that's one I'd have never figured out. Thanks, Dave
  14. I copied the plg file hit install was greeted with: plugin: installing: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg plugin: downloading https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg ... done Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg:1: parser error : Document is empty in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 plugin: xml parse error" and then there's no trace any where, what am I doing wrong? Dave
  15. I updated my 5.0.5 box to 6.1.3 after setting up my new rig. I thought this would be apiece of cake! Left the file systems alone because I figured it would be a good backup, keeping my old files. Upgrade went perfect, turned it on, set my drives in place, and it was off to the races. It's on a ASRock z87 exteme4 mobo which has HVM-Enabled, IOMMU-Disabled (can't find anything in bios to turn on) and Bios shows Vt-d-Not Supported. Can I run Dockers? I've got it setup, tried to add templates by adding the links, however, no templates show when I select "Select A Template". I see my Dockers.img in the root of my cache. Even though I can't pass through my USB stuff, I figured I should be able to run the dockers or am I SOL. I tried running uBuntu as a VM, seemed to work although the resolution is so small I can't read it in my old age, tried switching once running but the new resolution won't save correctly. I don't know. Thanks, Dave
