  1. This can be marked SOLVED! Issue was the dumbass installer using ram that was bad.
  2. So, I thank everyone for replying to this thread.... It turns out that the ram in this system that I tested last month is now bad. I have never seen higher numbers in memtest! Infact, I don't think that it will report numbers past 65535+ which this stick of ram hit. So, until I report back please don't look at anything in this thread. I will report back when I can say that I have tried with ram that is currently working. Once again thank you for people trying to help.
  3. This is what I get when I try to install the same docker on the test rig that I can't get working..... Pulling image: linuxserver/plex:latest IMAGE ID [latest]: Pulling from linuxserver/plex. 4. Yes, I just setup another system and was able to get that one working. Plex linuxserver docker with mapped media. That setup is an HP Proliant microserver. So, I am pretty sure it is the test setup that is causing me issues. Has anyone else has issues with AMD A10 setups? I mirrored everything that I did on the workingr setup and no dice on my test rig that is in my signature.
  5. Updated to current test build. Thank you for saying something. I had to enable signatures to show. I didn't realize that everyone else was looking at my stable build.
  6. Glad that your setup is working. Like I said I am sure it is something I am doing. Not blaming unraid or plugins. I just have a gremlin.
  7. Sig updated for this build and no cache drive. No working dockers currently.

No cache drive. Docker enabled. Fix common problems all good. Installed all of the nerd pack. Restarted, rechecked all good. Again it froze on install of the Linuxserver plex docker. (I am sure that the app is not the problem.) What else can I provide as logs, ie where do I get them? Happy to get whatever anyone asks, even if it's a beer if you live close enough.
  10. Thank you all for responding! I am sorry that I left zero information that would help find a solution. It was my adult version of throwing the NES controller after losing to Tyson again. I am currently rebuilding the array. This was a fresh setup on an unraid trail key and I am wondering if there is something that is causing an issue when extracting files from the plex docker. I am going to get a fresh setup going, install the community app, the fix common issues app and make sure everything is ok and then install the Nerd pack. Once I am done with that I will report back with the hardware from the dynamix app and get whatever else would be needed. I am 99.9% it's user error.
  11. I have now tried everything that I can find to make unraid and plex work together..... Dockers or Apps. Every time I have to shutdown by holding the power button. I have been a supporter of unraid for years.. Does anyone have a guide on how to get this done? From start to finish with the newest build? Build unRAIDServer-6.3.5-x86_64.zip to plex that doesn't cause me to rebuild parity? I have 2 servers that are running Phazes plugins that work great. WTF! Is there a guide that can get me up and running from install to plex running with shared media?
  12. Every few months I come back to see what has changed..... I find myself reading old threads that lead to a dead end. Please stop it! There shouldn't be 7 ways to do the same thing or variations in what is to be expected from unRAID. When I write code 1 = 1 not 1+2-2 = 1 or .5+.5=1 Part of the problem with unRAID is all the variation and different guides on how to get things to work with the current beta.... This copy part of my code and it "should work" would be better off stopped by Limetech. I appreciate the help that fellow users are giving knowledge that I don't have and help to fellow users but, it leads to many issues that are blamed on unRAID. I understand that there will always be 7 ways to get to the same destination... Wouldn't it be better if Limetech made a guide from start to end? Like, you want to run unRAID v5.04 and have plex server running? Use this Limetech sponsored guide..... and at the end it works. Thoughts?
  13. Thanks for the quick response Justin. This could REALLY be meaningful. It would take my 3 current unRAID builds and turn them into Media Center PC's. Only ran across this due to talking a friend into building up an unRAID server in the last week. Happy I came back to the site to see what was "almost new".
  14. The possibility of this seems very awesome. There is a bunch of config info in here.... Can I ask a few questions Peter? That being the first one. 2. With KVM I could run Win7 w/ remote and TV Tuner and have the video output to HDMI to my projector in the same box as unRAID? 3. Is this an option for an AMD A10, or just stand alone graphics cards? Edit: Maybe some links to info that you already know that I have no idea about? Thanks!
  15. I am betting that most of us have spent waaaaaaay too much money at NewEgg over the years. Anytime I need to RMA an item I call and ask them to check my account to see how much I have spent. This always leads to them paying the return shipping. I am sure that a Norco 4224 wouldn't be. Now that I am a Shoprunner member there is a hidden page to get the free RMA return shipping. (This is for items that were shipped with Shoprunner.) They still don't make it easy. I can say that it used to be 2/3 of drives were shipped crappy. Mostly based on where they ship from. NJ & TN were really bad. I have never had any problems with CA. Anymore 1/4 is a crappy pack job. The other 3/4 are in the factory boxes (cardboard boxes with the plastic sleeves packed inside another box with packing peanuts.) NewEgg is just like anything else.... I can recall at least 3 shipments were things were missing. Like in the good old days of ATI 550 TV Tuners were I would get the product visibly opened missing the remote or missing the RF sensor. I can say I haven't seen anything like that for a while just saying you never know who is working in their warehouse.
