tdallen Posted February 16, 2017 Share Posted February 16, 2017 Probably not ideal because the 6600k only has 4 cores. Gaming VMs tend to like dedicated cores and you need to leave some horsepower for unRAID. Quote Link to comment
giantkingsquid Posted February 19, 2017 Share Posted February 19, 2017 As a minimum you'd want four threads per gaming VM plus another two to four for unRAID. So 4+4+2=10/2=5. Round up to 6 cores with HT. Something like a 6800K. Quote Link to comment
