jonp
This is awesome! I will try to join as well. Maybe we could do the equivalent of a reddit AMA (ask me anything) for you guys? This would be an interesting format for that maybe? Quote Link to comment
Ice_Black
This is awesome! I will try to join as well. Maybe we could do the equivalent of a reddit AMA (ask me anything) for you guys? This would be an interesting format for that maybe? Great! Do try to join #unraid channel on IRC (freenode) when you get a chance, I make you an OP. I think AMA on #unraid channel might work, we could give a try. Is it possible you could add unRAID IRC heading on http://lime-technology.com/support-2/ ? you can add something like this: The #unraid channel on the chat.freenode.net IRC network is a good place ask questions or unraid chat. - Network: freenode - Server: chat.freenode.org - Ports: 6667, 7000 (SSL) - Channel: #unraid Quote Link to comment
kenzo86
I for one think that the IRC channel is a godsend. It saved me having to type out 10-20 posts on the forum and help get me set up in a day...dockers and all! Quote Link to comment
PeterB
Signed on just now ... interesting to chat, real time, to you guys on the other side of the world, and a day behind! What's all this issue about IRC clients? I just clicked 'chat' in my email client (Thunderbird) and a few keystrokes later I was chatting away! Quote Link to comment
flintlock1
Just set up an irc client, and am on now. Great idea for instant help. It will probably be of use to most unraid user's to be able to get some instant advice, and to save a panic situation (had a few of these in the past lol.) Quote Link to comment
chickensoup
Not trying to hijack but since it's very related, let us know which IRC client you chose/prefer! Poll below :-) http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=36124.0 Quote Link to comment

Kode
Why not just use kiwiirc? Just give people this link: https://kiwiirc.com/client/chat.freenode.org/#unraid and away they go Quote Link to comment
