  1. Hi. I have been running Unraid for many years when very few problems. Recently I have noticed that within 15 mins or so of me starting my Unraid server my household internet grinds to a halt. After stopping the server the internet starts working again properly. I am not sure what is causing this problem as I have not made any changes to the sever. I run a few dockers such as Plex, nzbget, sonarr etc... but not much else. Is there anything I can look at to help. I can post a diagnostic summary if this would help. Many thanks.
  2. I've been using Unraid for years with no problems but yesterday things started going wrong with the internet/network in my house and I have tracked the problem down to my Unraid server (6.8.3). When the server is off everything is fine but when I turn it on the internet grinds to a halt on every other device in my house to the point where it's unuseable. The server itself generally seems ok (no high CPU or RAM useage) and I haven't made any major changes to it recently. I generally use it for the usual dockers such as Plex/Sonarr/NZBGet etc.. and an Ubuntu VM so I tried turning then all off and leaving the server for a bit. The same thing happened however. I am at the point now where I have no idea how to track whats causing it. Any idea? Are there any logs I could post which might help track the issue? Thanks
  3. Well its the Speedtest.net plugin im using primarily to test this so I'm guessing its using the flash drive (where the plugin is installed) as the location of the download, which on first thought might be the cause of the problem. However when I try and use NZBGet docker to download something it achieves the same low speeds and its installed on and downloads to the cache drive. As for how it's networked I said the following in my initial post If i transfer files from or to my PC from the Unraid server cache drive I gets speeds of 112 MB/s so that looks perfectly fine to me.
  4. Got a bit of a strange issue and I'm not sure if its a problem with my Unraid server or not. My setup is an unraid server and my desktop PC both connected by gigabit ethernet to a switch which is gigabit ethernet to my router/modem. I recently got 350mbps fibre broadband so thought I would run a couple of speed tests on my desktop and unraid server to make sure I was getting the quoted speeds. On Speedtest.net and Fast.com I get the following download speeds (upload is fine and maxed on both): Desktop: approx 380mbps Unraid Server: approx 180mbps Needless to say I was quite shocked at the difference. I tried changing ports on the switch and even removing the switch altogether. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers
  5. Hi, The Fix Common Problems plugin is reporting that I have Machine Check Events detected on my server. I have followed what the suggested fix was and have attached my diagnostics file accordingly. Just a note that my server crashed right before I noticed this error upon rebooting. Any help appreciated. tower-diagnostics-20180628-1105.zip
  6. Quick question - is there any (easy and not too technical) way to confirm that DelugeVPN is definitely connected to the internet through my PIA account? I'm just being overly cautious here.
  7. I had the same problem yesterday and for some reason after a few hours it started working. All i did was change the settings in Siphon to left click only and then restarted my PC and unraid. I still get messages from Siphon saying that the Torrent has already been added but it does seem to add them now.
  8. Exact same thing happening here. No idea what's wrong with it.
  9. Managed to figure it out. I hadn't changed the bridge to br0 in Settings/VM Manager. Once I did this and reinstalled the VM it worked fine. Delete the topic if you want mods.
  10. Any help appreciated as this is driving me nuts. I have installed LibreELEC VM and it's up and running fine. I want it to be able to access my shared Kodi database on my Mariadb docker. To do this I want to add an "advancedsettings.xml" file to LibreELEC, however I cannot figure out how to get access to the file system. LibeELEC appear as a computer on my Network but I get the "windows cannot access" error message. I have also tried to SSH into it using the IP address shown in LibreELEC, this however just times out. The IP address in LibreELEC is 192.168.122.46 however generally everything on my Unraid server is under 192.168.0.5, I don't know if this has anything to do with it. Any ideas please?
  11. Rebooted my server and Docker is not starting again. I have 60gb free on my cache drive so no idea whats going on. I have attached another log. Any help appreciated. syslog.txt
  12. Managed to get it working. My 250gb cache drive had 16gb free, I freed up some more space and everything started working again. I can't believe I use so much space on the drive just to run Plex, Sonaar, Couchpotato and NZBGet. Also the Docker image has 50gb allocated to it now. Is there anyway to free up some of this space?
  13. Hi, I wonder if somebody could offer some advice. I just tried to update my Plex container but received some errors and then the container disappeared. I rebooted my server but now the whole Docker tab has gone. Also if I now go into the Apps tab I get a bunch of errors. I tried increasing the size of Docker in system settings but it didn't seem to work. Any help appreciated. I have attached my log. syslog.txt
