  1. This worked like a charm thank you. Using my Fritzbox as Internet Gateway with LTE backup only. Behind is a TP Link Omada ER605v2. So the discovery doesn't work because the Fritbox is on another subnet.
  2. Great work. Is there a way to choose the fritzbox IP?
  3. I would rather wait for 6.13 also instead of tampering with kernels and so. Keeping my seperate QSV box for now.
  4. I'm running latest stable unRAID so I don't think so. Would you recommend 6.13 or Thor kernel or passing through to a VM? Also Windows VM or Linux VM?
  5. I'm running latest unRAID on a Asus Rog Strix Z490-G Gaming WiFi with a i9-10900F. I'm using an Intel Arc A380. Does this already work with Jellyfin Docker or do I still need to pass-through to a VM?
  6. Forgot to mention the isolation is also configured on 0 1 2 3 Which system should I use for 2 Gamers 1 PC? Higher Core or higher Clock?
  7. I followed the guides from SpaceInvader One which do cover CPU pinning and NUMA nodes. Which I configured accordingly. The only thing I'm wondering is how to make sure that the 2nd CPU is using the RAM in the same NUMA node. Is unRaid NUMA aware like SQL Server is? The unnatural feeling is mostly the responsiveness and the audio quality. I've most are using HDMI audio do they connect there Headset/Headphone to the monitor? I have a USB Xonar U7 Soundcard connected on a USB Controller passed through and sometimes I hear these distortions even with the MSI interrupts.
  8. I've been testing and testing Unraid Gaming VM with the help of SpaceInvader One Youtube Videos which are fantastic. But I've never been completely satisfied. I tested this on 2 builds and there is always something that doesn't feel natural. My 2 builds: Xeon E5-1650v2 @4.5Ghz 32GB DDR3-1600 2x GTX 1080ti Asus Rampage IV Extreme Dual Xeon E5-2690 64GB DDR3 ECC 2x GTX 1080ti Asus Z9PE-D8 WS On the first build I'm limited to 6 Cores but higher frequency On the second build I'm "limited" to 8 Cores per GTX. Is it because I'm using Server grade CPU's that I'm having this unnatural feeling? Anyone experiencing this also? How many vCPU's do you assign for best performance in a Gaming VM? And what do you use for sound?
  9. I followed SpaceInvader One's Video Guide on a Windows 10 Daily Gaming VM I'm using a Xonar U7 connected to a USB passthroughed port. The Xonar U7 is connected to a Creative DDTS-100 through a digital cable (tried toslink and coaxial) To the Creative DDTS-100 I have the Logitech X530 connected Whenever I watch a movie with DTS or Dolby Digital I get audio hiccups When connecting the X530 to the analog inputs of the Xonar U7 the hiccups are different more like static. Does anyone experience this?
  10. For those that use rsync or SyncBack. Do you sync between user shares? Do you use split levels on the backup server? I haven't found how to use rsync on unraid. Can somebody help?
  11. Thanks for the replies. I'm going to test a W10 VM with SyncBack. I have a question about the backup server. Should I setup user shares or disk shares?
  12. I'm trying out unRAID and already have a main server up and running. Now I just installed my backup server and I have some questions: 1. Should I configure the same user shares? 2. What is the recommended way to backup from main to backup? 3. Do I also need a parity drive on my backup server? Thanks for helping out.
