Hey guys, I was given a few Xeon 5660 processors from a friend the other day and 128gb of memory he told me he salvaged from an old server. Just curious if this is worth trying to build around. hey guys im having a weird issue with my plex. not sure if its an unraid is or what going on. I basically lose all my posters every other day. I do a full refresh and the are remade, but then in two days their gone again. Any ideas?

I think the 4590 looks like a great little chip. didnt realize i could run a vm with it. i have a 750ti card laying around i could throw in as well. i for sure want to go with at least a i5. i have some cash id like to add into it. At some point id like to move to a bigger case for some breathing room.

Hey Guys, I originally converted over an old HTPC to an Unraid server. I use it for a few dockers including: Plex, SAB, Sonar, and Couchpotato. Im dont really need to run any VM's or anything of that sort. Im looking to upgrade my current setup and was hoping it could get a few suggestions. I have already purchased a 240gb ssd for a cache drive and am thinking i would like to upgrade my CPU. I would prefer to keep the motherboard so would prob have to stay in the haswell 1150 chipset. I also have another power supply to switch is as well. Current Setup Intel Pentium G3258 Anniversary Unlocked Dual Core 3.2GHZ Processor Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI mITX LGA1150 Z97 Kingston HyperX Fury Memory Black 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 Corsair CX Series CX430 Fractal Design Node 304 mITX Compact Case Black Western Digital WD40EFRX 4TB Red Western Digital WD20EFRX Red 2TB x4 Also any guide to add a ssd cache drive would be very helpful.

I could really use some help, ive been pulling my hair out trying to figure out my issue. I have files that i keep on my unraid box, movies, work files etc. When i try to move them over to a external hard drive on windows using teracopy they are all empty. Or only a few move over. All the folders are there but none of the folders. Ive tried countless drives and they all do the same thing. Have also tried multiple windows computer with the same result. any help would be amazing. thanks.

Could you suggest another way to do it? I'm open to anything at this point.

Aftera couple months of collecting parts and research I have finally build myself and unraid box. I have run into an issue over the last 3 days. I have been trying to move my media library from a windows pc to unraid. The windows device keeps freezing. I then tried a different pc, same result. I then tried from a external usb to pc, and it worked fine. The only time it happens is when it's connected to the unraid box. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but it's driving me nuts as I'll try and move things over go to work or to sleep and it will only get like 5 percent of the way through. Any help would be amazing! Thanks.
