I have all of my TV shows in a share called documents. I want to move them into their own share called TV shows. I've created the share "TV shows" but Unraid wants to copy the files over which will take hours/days. The must be a simpler way to move large files from one share to another. Thanks, Joe M

I'm using Unraid v. 6.52 rc1. Parity is good with 5TB drive and an array 5TB data drive has failed. I have an 8TB drive. I want to swap 8TB into parity and use old 5TB parity drive to replace failed array data drive. What is the procedure? Thank you, Joe M.

I have had Unraid for years and have a professional key for a new server. I'm pretty good with the hardware setup but I really haven't been able to setup the software in a satisfactory manner. I use my server basically as backup or as a giant hard drive for media. It's great for what I use it for but I would like to set up Plex, cloud, and all of the other great stuff it can do (maybe even a game server). If I put together a new server and buy higher end MB, processor, ram, graphics card, Is it possible to have someone set up Unraid for me? reading through the guides has not really worked and I'm at the point where I would rather pay someone else to walk me through it or do it for me. Thanks for the help. When you say map the path to my media, do you mean from within the Plex web gui? I couldn't seem to access disk3 from within Plex but I'll try again. I'm going to delete the limetech version and start over with the linuxserver version and report back.

I love the Community applications method for installing apps but only one Plex option includes an install button (Phaze). All of the other versions say add and use docker. I added limetech version and tried to set it up but I cant seem to get it to download my movie library (/mnt/disk3). How do I add disk3 from my unraid server to the library? Should I uninstall and install the Phaze verion from Community applications? I was hoping to set up Plex DVR. There is a .txz download for Unraid on the Plex site but no instructions for how to install it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe M.

Forget it, I found it. Tools>new config. I started array and I think parity is being synced. Does it matter if the data disks are out of order?

Thanks. I know which disk is parity now. How do I do a new config? Do I have to reload Unraid onto my flash drive?

I have two drives in my array that might be parity-the two biggest drives. The other has data on it. Is there any way to tell which drive was parity? The whole server had to be rebuilt because of a motherboard failure. I assume one of the two largest drives was parity but I don't know the order of the drives in the original server. Thanks, Joe M.
