  1. Looking for a little help with my setup. I am trying to run 3vm's (windows 10). Each with their own USB controller. I currently have 2 working vm's with pass through using the hostdev way. vm#1 uses 1a.0 vm#2 uses 1d.0 UnRaid USB is on 1c.6 aka Etron Tech. I thought adding 14.0 to the third vm would be straight forward... but it doesn't work... I guess because it is xHCI? (I've checked my BIOS and don't see anywhere to change it to EHCI) I have added 2 pci add-in cards. (Tried booting the UnRaid USB on both...no luck) So I need help writing the hostdev code needed to pass through either add-in card... if it's even possible? Any assistance would be extremely appreciated. 2. I am having this issue as well. I'm running 3 windows 10 vm's 1-OVMF, i440fx2.5, evga 960ssc 2-OVMF, i440fx2.5, evga 960sc 3-SeaBIOS, i440fx2.5, asus 750ti They all appear to be having this issue.
  3. Updating to 6.2.0 beta21 solved all my issues. I can now run 3 windows 10 vm's each with a GPU passed through. Notes: All three are running on OVMF. i440fx-2.5
  4. My new Samsung Evo's shared the same strange copy pattern. I tested out testdasi's fix. Disabling the "Large Send Offload " for IPv4 & v6 and it solved my issues. Here is a link to his solution if you want to read more about it. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=48563.msg466225#msg466225 Thank you testdasi.
  5. Hey Unknown. Take a look at this post. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=44010.0 Perhaps it will help you.
  6. I am also running into the exact same issue as you tiwing. I am trying to use 2x 256GB Crucial M500's and running 2 Win10 VM's. (Initially on 6.1.9, now testing with 6.2.0 b21) I have configured them in various different ways. 1parity/1drive or 2drives or 1drive/1cache. I have the same results. Transfer speeds are fast and then cut right out, up/down/up/down. I have swapped sata ports on my motherboard, no change. Tried 1 Crucial as a cache drive, 1 Western Digital Black as a main drive. Still get the wonky transfer speeds. My only luck so far has been removing the 2 Crucial drives and putting in a 128GB Liteon SSD. I get constant r/w speeds...speeds you'd expect running 2 vm's off 1 ssd. I really wish I had read your post earlier... I just purchased 2x Samsung 850 EVO's to test. Please update your post if you find a solution.
  7. The End Goal: A gaming rig with 3 (windows 10) vm's, each with a dedicated GPU. The Setup: -UnRAID 6.1.9 - Only using this server for gaming VM's. No other plugins installed. -Motherboard (Asrock z77 extreme 6) & CPU (i7 3770) are vt-d compatible (needed for immou) and the feature is enabled in the bios (Tested with 2 different bios revisions, currently on the newest). UnRaid reports "Enabled" beside HVM & IOMMU. -GPU's 2x 960's, 1x 750ti. (Also tested with amd 6870, 560gtx, 9500gt) The Issue: When setting up the third VM w/ GPU pass through the UnRaid host crashes when installing the nvidia drivers. What trouble shooting have I done? -Installed win10 as the main OS. Confirmed that all three video cards show up and work as expected (so I know the motherboard is in working condition). -Swapped in a different power supply. Corsair 1200i. No change. -These are new installs of Windows 10. -Tested with different machine types i440fx to Q35, etc -Tested with OVMF... had little luck even getting it to boot after 3-4 OS reboots. -Tested different Nvidia WHQL driver versions. -Tried mixing up the video cards in different motherboard slots. -Tried disabling every non-essential device in the bios. (Firewire, usb3, comm) -I have done more...just can't remember *all* of it. Any help would be extremely appreciated. tower-diagnostics-20160423-2137.zip
