  1. MowM helped me solve this - union config error: upstreams = /mnt/user/media /mnt/user/media_vfs:nc changed to upstreams = /mnt/user/media /mnt/disks/media_vfs:nc all is working!
  2. Having a bit of trouble with getting my files to show up in the right places. @MowMdown has been helping me and has been extraordinarily helpful and patient. I have rclone gdrive, crypt, and union configured. after getting my mount and upload script set up, i did a very simple test with a couple of movies. i modified plex docker /movies/ host file path to /mnt/disks/media/movies/ i added a new plex library to point to the /movies/ docker path i added the upload script for movies. i added movies folder = mnt/user/media/movies I copied 1 movie to mnt/user/media/movies i ran the upload movies script. It moved the one movie (folder and file) from mnt/disks/media to mnt/disks/media_vfs the movie folder and file is not in /mnt/disks/media/movies the movie folder and file is displayed in /mnt/disks/media_vfs/movies. Plex does not see the movie in the library path: /mnt/disks/media/movies Plex DOES see the movie in the library path: /mnt/disks/media/movies_vfs I can play and run the movie there (movies/vfs) fine. Could something be wrong with the union configuration? [union] type = union upstreams = /mnt/user/media /mnt/user/media_vfs:nc action_policy = ff create_policy = ff search_policy = all
  3. When I first set up my rclone mount and upload scripts, I incorrectly moved data from my /mnt/users/<old directory> to /mnt/disks/media/<new directory> Which I was told would create a loop. Could this have created a symlink situation?
  4. Is it possible to find symlinks in my system diagnostics? Don't think I've ever done a symlink. Is it possible its because post 6.9 I incorrectly removed my /disks/ share ?
  5. what else is interesting is that I set up an Emby with just one media path (/mnt/disks/media/docs/) in the docker container and add the library... It also JUST finds stuff in the /mnt/user/media/docs/ path?
  6. Thanks. Yeah, my new library is specifically pointing to /mnt/disks/media/docs but only picking up files in /mnt/user/media/docs for some reason.
  7. I am in the process of moving my files to the cloud (gdrive:crypt). I got the idea of having plex serve up my local unraid content from my old libraries and new libraries (with cloud content) at the same time. Once all my files we're in the cloud, I could just tear down my old libraries and keep the new ones. Something is not allowing me to do that. My plex docker (settings attached) has my older libraries on Host Path 1: with just /mnt/ In plex, I added my libraries by hitting using the paths: /mnt/user/movies, /mnt/user/tv, etc. Never had a problem. To accommodate the new libraries (and rclone) I was given instruction to use the /mnt/disks path route. I wanted test my theory (of new and old libraries) so I added a new path setting/config. The test path (docs) is /mnt/disks/media/docs and set up as read/write slave... In plex, when I choose this docs path to add my libraries, it actually adds files from the /mnt/user/media/docs folder. I can tell this is happening (via plex) because as files are being moved from local /mnt/user/media to the cloud /mnt/disks/media_vfs the library is shrinking. I can double verify this by comparing the files directly on the server shares. In what I think is a related symptom (of this /user/ vs /disks/ feud), rclone is throwing fits in the logs on some files where it can't move or delete some (but not all) files. Snippet here: Jul 31 03:06:43 smashboogie rcloneorig[5221]: The Beatles - Get Back/Season 1/The Beatles - Get Back - S01E02 - Part 2.mkv: Not deleting source as copy failed: failed to open source object: open /mnt/user/media/docs/The Beatles - Get Back/Season 1/The Beatles - Get Back - S01E02 - Part 2.mkv: no such file or directory Jul 31 03:35:51 smashboogie rcloneorig[5221]: Taskmaster/Season 6/Taskmaster - S06E08 - What Kind of Pictures.mkv: Couldn't delete: remove /mnt/user/media/docs/Taskmaster/Season 6/Taskmaster - S06E08 - What Kind of Pictures.mkv: no such file or directory I know at one point, fix common problems was giving me an error about having my own 'disks' share and that it was incompatible with 6.9. I can't remember if I deleted that offensive /disks/ share from unraid share screen (good) or just deleted it via Krusader (bad). Could that be the problem? Also attached system diag... Thanks for any and all suggestions! smashboogie-diagnostics-20220731-0718.zip
  8. So far so good - I think this solved it - thanks @JorgeB! Will mark as solved
  9. Its a fairly new system and has been doing this since I brought it up. Sometimes it happens after a few days, and sometime it happens 2 days in a row. Can anyone take a look at my diagnostics/syslog and see if there's something that stands out? Mucho thanks! syslog-192.168.0.5.zipsmashboogie-diagnostics-20220506-0747.zip
  10. UGH - I guess I moved the bad cable with me when I brought server upstairs to troubleshoot. ARGGHHH I can't listen to FLAC files via ROON I can't listen to Tidal/Quboz HQ FLAC w/o studder/connection issues I can't play 1080p video files w/o constant buffer/freezing/slowdown via MPC Classic When I set SABNZB to speeds > 1 MB/s : A) my entire interent slows to a crawl (anecdotally wifi is fine; wired shits bed?) B) even if its set at 3 MB/s it won't download faster than 1 MB/s (as if its capped) Speedtest docker shows 9 down and 8 up - I used to get 200 down/20 up. It has GOT to be a network setting, because: I have built a new server (from AMD to Intel) <--- migrated same flash/unraid config/system) I have bought a new Orbi router. I have bought a new unmanaged network switch. I have switched out cables. I installed SABNZB on my Windows PC, it went up to 10 MB/s download no problem. EDIT/Update - I deleted my network.cfg and rebooted. same problem. I have attached my diagnostic zip - please help! I am broke and there is nothing more to replace - 😅 smashboogie-diagnostics-20220221-1544.zip
  11. Looking at 2 of these, because I need PCI 4x - https://www.newegg.com/syba-si-pex40156-pci-express/p/1B3-002S-00003?Item=1B3-002S-00003 They state they come with low profile brackets... Does anyone know if these (or any other ASMedia 1064 cards) come with high profile brackets?
