I bought this off ebay a while back but never got around to using it or setting it up. It was tested to power on and POST succesfully and bios is updated to latest version.

Local pickup is preferred, I'm in the Bay area, north CA. Price is $275

Sorry for the late replies.

I purchased replacement fans (for case), cpu cooler, and PSU to make the server quiet for home use. None of this is installed they are all brand new parts, like I said I just never got time to set it up. The standard PSU is loud.

This is a picture of what it can look like if you replace the default PSU (this is not my pic but the rest of parts are the same)

The cpu's are a few years old, you can find more info on sites like this - http://cpuboss.com/cpu/AMD-Opteron-2425-HE

I don't own a killo-watt so I have no idea about the power draw, but I can tell you that replacing the fans and PSU with a more efficient one will have a big impact, the bulk of the power draw is likely going to be based on how many drives are used since it will idle most of the time.
