  1. Maybe this will give you what you want, although the drives are tested individually... http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=31073.0
  2. Step 4 http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=27679.msg244140#msg244140 More info http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=30657.msg275742#msg275742
  3. Once you've map the directories to explorer, you could print directory to a txt file. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321379 or this thread, JoeL utilizes command line to get the list (other software solutions as well) http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=21687.msg192517#top
  4. Like this one for the PCI port... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833106121
  5. When I saw your post and smart tests originally, I searched for "End to End Error" as it indicates it is "FAILING NOW" (and I have no experience with the new Seagates, and I have one waiting to be installed...) 184 End-to-End_Error 0x0032 098 098 099 Old_age Always FAILING_NOW 2 (the other drive had a raw value of 7) I wouldn't trust Seatools as an indicator of a drive problem, especially if it is only reporting if the smart test "passed", which is not an indicator of a failing drive. Usually a smart test will fail after it is too late to save your data. End-to-End Error- Appears to be an internal memory cache problem, although this seemed to be the most logical explanation:
  6. See you replied while I was typing mine. Was wondering if you were going to see errors once you started a write. Interesting to see what the short test says now.
  7. I'm with you...I'm not a big fan of the Samsung drives, but here is one of my smart reports. Normally, no reallocated or pending sectors is a good indicator. Run a long smart test as well.
  8. Try here http://www.newegg.com/SANS-DIGITAL-RAID-Enclosure-Subsystems/BrandSubCat/ID-11118-509 Also search the forum for port multiplier. Sorry, using my phone. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337

  11. Nice. Got the 4TB Seagate and 3TB WD Red yesterday, but this is definitely a great price deal. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337
  12. I'd say it is likely at some point that btrfs will make it to unRAID. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=27226.msg239203#msg239203
  13. I hadn't seen it reported, nor had I encountered the segfault on 4.7 Correct. I remember on v5 that it gave segfault messages, but I could still telnet. I'd try the powerdown in unMenu, and if that doesn't work - the command line described above. It just cleanly stops everything, at which point you can hit the power button (without incurring a parity check on reboot).
  14. v5 will cause a segfault if emhttp is shutdown and restarted. Using 4.7 those commands worked fine. I've used the command line described here to stop the server. http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Console#To_cleanly_Stop_the_array_from_the_command_line nohup is just a run command even after exiting CLI http://linux.die.net/man/1/nohup
  15. Take a look through this thread, the issue may be the same. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=26412.msg230956#msg230956
