  1. I have everything back again, thanks a lot! I decided to trust Unraid some years ago, I am really glad that I was right!
  2. Ok, I see... Thanks. In the past I had Unraid running as a VM under Esxi, so only the three drives were seen by unraid.
  3. Wow, thanks a lot for all your answers! No I have hope again! I installed Unraid 6.1.6, requested a trial license and assigned my three drives. But now I cannot start my array because Huh? These are exactly the same drives that I used before with the Unraid free version. I already rebooted the system after requesting the trial license.
  4. Hello, long story short: I played with another os on my unraid machine and I unintentionally formatted one of my data drives. To make it more complicated, I even formatted my flash drive as I wanted to update to v6 anyway. So this is what I had: Unraid 4.something free version, with two data drives and one parity drive Now I have: Currently no Unraid installation, the three physical drives consisting of one data driive, one formatted data and the parity drive. So I guess, I should start over and get a Unraid 6 license, right? And then? What are the steps that I should take? Sorry, for being so unexperienced, Unraid just worked for years now. This is the first time that I have trouble. And it's even my fault. Thanks in advance!
  5. Hello everybody, I thought it would be a good idea, to ask my question in an own thread (http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=34182.0). But no replies yet... :'( I'm pretty sure that one of the readers here could help me, because I nearly exactly followed the guide here. Except my drive is a SATA drive which is attached as "Removable Storage". It is there in unRAID: I could create a partition, format it and mount it successfully. But unRAID just does not use it for the array! Any ideas? Thanks!
  6. Hello unRAID experts, I'm using unRAID for quite a while now as a VM in ESXI without any problems. Now I want to give xenserver a try. I managed to install unRAID on xenserver following this guide: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=30719.0 My hardware does not support IO virtualization, so I managed that one SATA hostdrive was recognized as "Removable storage" in xencenter (see here: http://techblog.conglomer.net/sata-direct-local-disk-access-on-xenserver/) Then I can attach this drive to the unRAID VM. When I log into unRAID, this is the result of fdisk: fdisk -l Disk /dev/xvdc: 2000.4 GB, 2000398934016 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 243201 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disk identifier: 0x000xxxxx Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/xvdc1 1 243202 1953512448 7 HPFS/NTFS But the webinterface does not show this drive! I already attached this drive to a Windows VM. And it worked. The unRAID logs do not show anything (obvious) to me. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance!
