  1. A bit off this topic but since they are offering Carbonite discounts, any chance of a carbonite docker? I think they are windows only so probably not, just thought I would see what people are considering that might be comparable to CrashPlan. Very sad to see the unlimited home account go. I was only paying monthly $5.99 unlimited, therefore my access cannot be renewed any longer and will expire in approx 60 days. I am thinking of using this container and pay for Pro until I figure out the best way forward. Thanks for your work to help with migration! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Those Noctuas are actually cooling your drives? I was told they wouldn't do much give the low static pressure but may reconsider trying a few. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I just did a swap from a Norco 4020 into the same 846 case from the same seller you have listed. The 1200w psu's aren't that loud like the older ones, but I did swap mine with a 720w platinum PWS-721P-1R supermicro(non SQ) and it's even quieter (only $35 on eBay). I have active supermicro CPU coolers added and set IPMI fan setting on my X9 to optimum. The stock ACE 80 mid plane fans stay around 3k which I don't find too loud in my hallway closet but they aren't as quiet as my 120mm noctuas I had in the norco. I would try to stay as stock as possible if you can find a way as I really appreciate the SM engineered assemblies. You can get supermicro 80mm fan replacements for mid plane that are even quieter (FAN-0074L) that are used in the workstations (see fan matrix https://www.supermicro.com/support/resources/Thermal/ ) I think it's important to keep the static pressure to move the air through the backplane. My temps stay in the 28-35c range right now. With the 120mm noctuas in my norco I always was at high 30's and into 40's which I didn't like. I'd be interested to know what people are getting with the 120mm mod in the 846 case, but I really don't like the butchered look with the zip tied wall. If you can afford it though, definitely stay with the SM hot swap psu. The SQ series are almost silent from what I've seen but mine is quiet enough. I'm running two E5-2660 v1's in my X9 board with 96GB ecc ram currently and it rocks! I love my new SM chassis so much I just grabbed a 24 bay cse-216 and made it a jbod add on to the 846 via DAS sff-8087/8088 cables. Loving it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. No, I will test with AV disabled though and whitelist added but I have also noticed dockers are running but cant manage or see them in GUI, only error: Fatal error: Uncaught UnexpectedValueException: RecursiveDirectoryIterator::__construct(/boot/config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-user): failed to open dir: Not a directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php:63 Stack trace: #0 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(63): RecursiveDirectoryIterator->__construct('/boot/config/pl...', 4096) #1 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(92): DockerTemplates->listDir('/boot/config/pl...', 'xml') #2 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(222): DockerTemplates->getTemplates('all') #3 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(360): DockerTemplates->getTemplateValue('binhex/arch-cou...', 'Icon') #4 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php(323): DockerTemplates->getIcon('binhex/arch-cou...') #5 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(383) : eval()'d code(7 in I see that several of my plugins failed to re-install properly, so I will attempt to repair those to correct. 5. Upgraded a a few days ago, notice the "Dashboard" tab is mostly blank on the gui now. Not sure if its related yet as I need to test further on this end.
  6. Hi @snoopy86 , I appreciate your LMS and emoncms containers. I have been trying to set up remote logging (as seen in links below) but there is no "emonhub" tab for the config to do so in your emoncms docker. The tab is usually under the Setup tab but is not there. Do you have any suggestions for exposing or editing the config? https://guide.openenergymonitor.org/setup/remote/ https://community.openenergymonitor.org/t/emoncms-running-on-own-server/1648
