  1. Its less hardware, and less management since only one OS is running. Both server have redundant psu. But yea each system have his failure states, but i accept those.
  2. Hello, Possible to increase this 30 disks limit ? Wanted to "join" my servers with HBA card so that 30 disks limit will be reached quickly Thanks
  3. Ok then I will try to flash to .15 to see if that fix my issue. Thanks Bob
  4. Hello, I am having issue with my 2 x AOC-SASLP-MV8 cards. Each time I shutdown, box reboot instead. If I remove 1 card, box shutdown correctly, if I plug the 2 ... no ... Always shutdown correctly wih one card, removing the first or the second one, same. I have switched pci ports too, but same. I dont have any idea, and SuperMicro support dont help me. Cards are on .21 firmware on a X8SIL motherboard. I read somes topics about flashing cards to the .15 firmware. Thats still a good idea ? It will handle my 6 TB drives ? Thanks
  5. Since unraid is able to spindown disk after some inactivity time, i think it shoud be possible, atleast i hope
  6. Hello, Is it possible to add on next release the spinup information on dmesg like we have for spindown ? Thanks for all this good work!
  7. Same issue here since 6.2, no update? Cant access anymore my public share on W10 and OpenElec.
  8. No issue, runned fine on previous stable version too .
  9. For me yes, all my shares are public. Just noticed that i can change settings from 'Shares/Disk?name=cache' pages. Each time i press Apply, settings are back to previous value. So SMB down, and cant even setup NFS lol Any idea?
  10. Some news logs from my issue with smb. 11. Done, same result, samba is enable yes, I can see it in Windows network. Same output for nmblookup and smbclient.

  14. For Windows, there are sites online with info on that error. And with no other info on the error, plus possibly no other users reporting it, I think you should probably start with the Windows ideas, and work through them first. One site I found (disclaimer: don't know them, can't vouch for them), but they did provide multiple potential issues with possible fixes, and a few testimonials, is this one -> Eassos: How to fix error code 0x80004005. However, I don't think I saw a single issue related to networking or permissions, so it may not be of any help. Googling 0x80004005 found a number of other options. Obviously they won't have a fix for unRAID, but you might find an issue that could inspire the right idea, what the real problem is. For Linux, need a little more info, the exact error message and any error codes with it, and which program or function reported the timeout. Can you test running that command on unraid host. smbclient -L 127.0.0.1 -N -d 10 It end "by protocol negotiation failed: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED" Even on host i cant list share
  15. Windows 10 & Linux(libreelec/openelec) All share set as Public. I saw TOWER in WORKGROUP, but when i try to open it, have an error Error : 0x80004005 on Windows. Linux say Timeout.
