I have a PERC H710P Mini and when I configure each drive as a raid 0 to let it pass through to the os it is recognized and usable by openmediavault but unraid shows nothing when I do a lsblk. any help would be appreciated I would love to make the switch Quote Link to comment

JorgeB Posted January 15, 2017 Share Posted January 15, 2017 unRAID doesn't usually work with controllers in RAID mode, only IT/HBA, if you haven't already you can try the lastest v6.3rc as I believe there are some added Perc drivers. Quote Link to comment
Twistedatoms Posted January 15, 2017 Author Share Posted January 15, 2017 I couldn't find any LSI IT crossflash for this particular raid controller. but it does look like version unRAIDServer-6.3.0-rc6 recognized the raid. thank you for the suggestion. To anyone else working with this, just a note, you still have to raid the drives to pass them to the OS. I am doing a Raid 0 for each individual drive then allowing unraid to handle parity Quote Link to comment
