I replaced a power cable and all is back to normal. Thanks a lot guys, really appreciated the help. One last question, is it prudent to run another parity check after this? Oh and one last question, I have added a second SSD for the cache drive. It does say it is part of the cache pool but it still only showing 500gb total. It's probably something silly, sorry. So while running the parity check, a bunch of read errors started to pop up on several devices. Does this mean my drives are toast or should I look for a hw problem at this point? There are a lot of sync corrections, and I am not sure if that's related to the previous issue or the read errors.

NO diagnostics saved. I did find a photo I took of it today though and were able to put them in the right order. It's dual parity. I did initiate a parity check after that, and hopefully it will work after that.

Hi Folks, I had to rebuild my server with different hardware because my old MB crapped out. In any case, it seemed to have started fine but my devices showed up as missing, and when I tried to add them into the correct slot it showed up as wrong (it was not). I read another thread about this issue and went with the advice of doing a "New Config" and "Retain All". That seemed to have worked as all disks showed up correctly and array working. After that I had to restart the server and upon restart the same problem appeared, so I did the "New Config" again with "Retain All" but this time all devices showed up as unassigned? I'm kind of stuck now as I have no idea what the correct device order was/is/should be. What should I do at this point? Is there a log or history somewhere I can look up the correct device order? Help is greatly appreciated.

Figured it out, thanks for the hint. Totally forgot that you have to point the docker to the path before plex can see it. Sorry for wasting your time. GEN

I have a movie, Tv and music share but for some reason plex won't see the music one when trying to add folder to Library. I have tried cloning all settings from the other two shares but no luck. Log attached. aja-diagnostics-20170407-2028.zip

Any idea as to what causes the preclear plugin to not work? I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it doesn't budge. As mentioned before, all attributes are in red "undefined" and when I press start preclear a window pops up briefly and it goes back to doing nothing. Any help would be appreciated as I have 8 disk sitting to be precleared. GENINC

Plex seems to be always transcoding, I try to play back original quality through a receiver that is capable of decoding the DTS HD Master and True HD Codec but for some reason plex always transcodes to h264 and 2 channel audio. HI, My plex stream just froze and I had to restart plex. After checking the logs I discovered a few errors including these ones: blk_update_request: critical target error, dev sdn, sector & Buffer I/O error on dev sdn2, logical block Any idea what those are? just like all the other ones, via a LSI 9300-8i Host bus. Although the new drives are with two new Host bus adapters that I ordered. Perhaps there is a driver issue there?

Preclear not working on drives, and no identification on the drives. All drive attributes (Family, model, serial etc.) are marked red as undefined. I am not sure if that has something to do with me not able to preclear any drives.
