  1. Thank you for your answer. Wow, I didn't know 4.7 didn't support 3TB drives Cheers!
  2. I've been trying to upgrade my functioning 2TB parity drive to a 3TB drive. I simply stopped the array and then did a clean power down. Replaced the HDD and started the pc back up. I don't recall exactly what it said at the beginning, something about Parity drive not being the correct one possibly. Now it only says "No parity drive" even if I've selected it in devices. Should I connect the old 2TB parity drive again and then take some other steps before swapping drives ? Thanks for your help.
  3. I added a share succesfully? (I see a .cfg file created for it) but it will not show under /Shares in webGUI, is this normal with this beta or is something wrong ? I have no new "folder" shown when I network browse Also, can I update this .cfg file manually once I've started to add folders/files?
  4. at the middle/end of that article he talks about ways to ALIGN the hdd using software tools. Does this work with unraid ?
  5. The F4 series has already replaced F3 here in Sweden
  6. So I was poking around in bios settings, trying to figure out why I couldn't boot with USB2.0 enabled, after a few restarts, BIOS stopped detecting any USB thumbdrive I inserted (even ones that worked before) so I did a Load Optimized Defaults. After changing what needed changing (non usb related) and restarting machine, suddenly I could boot my Lexar JD Firefly in USB2 mode. go figure.... weird as...
  7. Hmmm... which bios version ? I'm on F4 (board came with it) And did you have to change any settings to get it to boot ? I'd love to get it working here also
  8. I just got this board and I'm trying to find this HPA option, I'm using F4 bios and the only relevant thing I can find seems to be disabled by factory and it's called "Backup BIOS Image to HDD" is this the HPA feature ? Edit: I also found that (so far) the only way I can boot a usb thumbdrive with unRaid on it, is to disable USB2 in bios, is this true ?
