rubberjabber
Running Unraid 5 beta13 and have had problems with my cache drive. I have Google'd / searched this forum but have yet to find a reason why the mover is running, copying the files, failing and as a result not deleting the file on the cache drive. Here is the syslog log: Nov 27 10:45:19 Albert logger: rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1042) [sender=3.0.7] Nov 27 10:45:19 Albert logger: ./TV Shows/TV Show 1/Season 2/TV Show 1 S02E12 - Sins of the Fathers.m4v Nov 27 10:45:19 Albert logger: rsync: get_xattr_data: lgetxattr("TV Shows","user.org.netatalk.supports-eas.FV6BQJ",0) failed: Exec format error ( Nov 27 10:45:28 Albert logger: .d..t...... dgaschk
It looks ok although ata4 may be having problems. Start the mover and and post the log after it has run for a while. Quote Link to comment

dgaschk
Use this to diagnose the ata4 problem: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=The_Analysis_of_Drive_Issues#Drive_Interface_Issues How much free space do you have? Investigate the duplicate files. I think that may be the problem. You need to clean up the duplicates and determine why they are occurring. It is not normal to have duplicate files speed across the drives. Quote Link to comment
rubberjabber
Have been busy with my course but finally got round to looking at this again. dgaschk, you were indeed correct that there was a faulty SATA cable and after replacing, everything works great. Thank you ever so much for your help! Works like clockwork now and I do not need to intervene! Quote Link to comment
