cohiba
I bought this board on a Fry's combo deal with a Celeron 430 for a measly $50. Initially, due to the Realtek performance issues, I had to turn off the onboard Realtek 10/100 NIC and add in an Intel 10/100 PCI NIC. But I am running the latest beta now, which supposedly fixes the issue, so I might try going back to the onboard NIC, or adding in a cheap gigabit adapter (just bought a NetGear GA311 for only $10). Other than the NIC, the motherboard supported booting from my USB flash drive on the first try--didn't even have to change anything in BIOS. I've since installed it internally using an adapter to plug it into an internal USB header. The standard unRAID stack had no problems booting up and has been running solid for many weeks now, so I have to say this might be my best ECS experience yet! Quote Link to comment
slaveunit
I'm currently running this board now as well wit the celeron 430 (1.8 ghz). It only have 4 sata and 1 ide but I can expand later with the 2 pci slots. The onboard NIC seems to be working fine. I am running 4.3-beta6. Quote Link to comment
