« on: December 16, 2011, 04:06:20 AM »
Hello this is my first post @ this forum so greetings!
I just love the unraid software concept! installed it on a brazos CPU miniITX unraid 5 B14 but I have one frature request. Can you please enable dvbs api in the kernell by default ? For a media center raid system this is a must have! :) I would love to have tvhedend running on it.
Thanke you
Kind regards!

How does the DVB api help a file server environment?

FWIW, There are instructions for compiling your own custom kernel along with other developers here compiling custom kernels with drivers.

Ive made my own custom kernel to run TVHeadend but would be pretty awesome if it was enabled by default and i didnt have to recompile everytime an update comes out.

Anyone got any good points to compiling VDR on unRAID / Slackware. Only just discovered VDR via OpenElec and thinking of switching!
