rutherford
Hello, I've been able to get my external usb mac-format hfsplus drive to mount, but it will only mount as a read-only file system. I would like to be able to read and write to and from this disc. I used mount -w -t hfsplus /dev/sdj /mnt/burns/ The -w is supposed to be read/write, so I suspect I'm missing some other important par of the puzzle. Like an ntfs-3g driver, but for hfsplus. Googling has been fruitless. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
DosSpider
Having the same problem myself. I've tried mounting via unMenu and via command line. Seems to think it's being mounted as writeable, but when I try to mkdir on the drive I get a Read Only error. Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
I'm talking out of my butt on this, but have you checked permissions? I'm not even sure it's relevant on hfsplus, but it couldn't hurt to check. Quote Link to comment
rutherford
No updates. I went a different route and gave up on it. Ah well. Quote Link to comment
