I decided to give it a shot with some of the RAM I already had. Well. it look like it works with 16GiB. It posts 16 GB at boot up, Win2008r2SP1 is Reporting 16GB. The RAM I used is 2x Samsung 8GB ECC unbuffered DDR3 UDIMM 1333MHz (CL9). The ram was genuine Samsung re-branded as Super Talent. Not sure why you need that for unRAID.. but i thought to mention it since there is no HP Microserver thread here. Quote Link to comment

Is the CPU really good enough for running ESXi for anything useful? If so, then I can see installing 16GB at some point. Quote Link to comment
