That figures... There is no reason why someone would think that the press of a physical button would bring the system down better then from command line..

Actually on the server I have if you hit to power button it sends to graceful shutdown of the system. It does the same as a Reboot -h on the system.

EDIT:....That sounded derogatory and I didn't mean it to. I remember Joe L linking me to it when I asked a question about it powerdown, and everytime I want to reference something I think of it as the maybe thread because of other users joking
