Andrewch
Hello everyone, Has anyone used this motherboard before? http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B75%20Pro3-M/ Im confused because the "Storage" section lists: - 1 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connector by Intel® B75, supports NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug functions - 2 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors by ASMedia ASM1061, support NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug functions and the "Connector" section lists" - 5 x SATA2 3.0 Gb/s connectors, support NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug functions - 3 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors So can I connect 8 hard drives or 3? Do you think its compatible with Unraid RC? Seems like 1 person thinks so. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=20898.msg198996#msg198996 Quote Link to comment
msx
It features 8 sata connnectors: 6 are connected to the onboard Intel controller 1 of this connector is Sata600, the other 5 ports are sata300 2 are connected to the asmedia controllerd both these connectors are sata600 so you can run 8 sata harddisks on this motherboard. I am currently running it with 6 harddisks. 5x 2TB and a 320 GB cache drive. I have currently had the system running without any problems as noted in my previous post. I would recommend this board. El Gabito
Just an update. Been running this motherboard for about 1 month and everything works great. I would recommend this motherboard. Awesome - I've been wanting to pull the trigger but hadn't seen anyone actually using it. Quote Link to comment
Andrewch
Yep, working great. Just got the Wol setup through event ghost on my HTPC and through wolcmd on my others. The server wakes as soon as windows boots and is set to wait for my HTPC to shutdown before sleeping - via unmenu. Fantastic mb Quote Link to comment
