Helmonder
Does someone still have the ipmitool package that influencer created ? Or some other compiled ipmitool version I could use on unraid ? Quote Link to comment
tr0910
Yes I do. We need to host it somewhere permanently. I'm away from my unRaid boxes at the moment. Hope someone else has it. Quote Link to comment

tr0910
I currently run it on my V5 servers, but I just tried it on V6b14 and got root@SandBox:/boot/packages# installpkg /boot/packages/ipmitool-1.8.12-i486-1.tgz Verifying package ipmitool-1.8.12-i486-1.tgz. itimpi
You would need a different binary for v6 (v5 is 32-bit and v6 is 64-bit). From the name of the file it looks like it is the 32-bit version. Quote Link to comment
tr0910
I would be happy to email the file to anyone with the knowledge to check further. Just pm me the email you want me to send it to. Quote Link to comment

Which version you have? I have a 64bit version 1.8? I think. It's probably in my github. I'll have to look. Quote Link to comment

tr0910
Was able to download and install on 6b14. But my ipmi devices are not where I can test them, so I will leave it for others to verify that this does what it is supposed to. Quote Link to comment
Swixxy
Working for me on v6b14, thank you very much. Quote Link to comment

trurl
How would I install this on the latest unraid version ? Haven't tried, but since it is a .tgz, I assume you could put it in boot/extra and unRAID would use installpkg to install it on startup. You could also use installpkg to install it yourself. Helmonder
Ok... that installed it... Now to see if it works... Quote Link to comment
