I tried searching for this but couldn't find anything exactly like my problem.  I just swapped motherboards in my Unraid box and didn't have any problems on the new motherboard.  However, random access problems started cropping up and I think I've pinned it down to when I put the old motherboard back in service.  It seems the MAC address for the old motherboard is stuck in the Unraid configuration because it matches what is configured in the rebuilt PC.

So, how do I set the MAC in Unraid to whatever the actual new adapter MAC is?

Thanks!

edit config/network.cfg on the flash drive.

Remove the line that starts with
HWADDR=
(This is a guess... but it is probably forcing the MAC address)

That worked like a charm!  Thanks very much.  All seems well now!
