ironicbadger
This thread acts as the official support channel for LinuxServer's Smokeping container. I'll update this OP with more info about what Smokeping is / does later but if you want a badass example of what it can do then take a look at http://smokeping.ucdavis.edu/cgi-bin/smokeping.fcgi. ijuarez
Please do update it, i've installed it but at this point not sure what its supposed to do. I saw the example and it looks cool but more guidance would be great. Link to comment
ironicbadger
Go to the port you specified with the following suffix http://192.168.x.x:8080/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi You'll be able to edit the targets which get pinged in the Targets file which lives in /config (stored in appdata) Link to comment
ironicbadger
Some more questions lately in IRC about why you'd want to use Smokeping. This episode of the Linux Action Show covers it in quite some detail, skip to 7 mins. http://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/46487/opensuse-13-1-review-las-29e07/ Link to comment
ad8mustanggt
Would it be possible to update the smokeping container so all the files in the config.d directory are stored in /config instead of just Targets? Link to comment
