okay hi to everyone. i am new to unraid i have installed plex container and every time i restart i have to set up every thing can any one help with this.thanks 

You have posted in the plugins section, but you call it a container. Is it in fact a docker container you are using, or are you using PhAzE plugin, or something else?

Do you have a cache drive?

 

Have you installed the Community Applications plugin? Much easier to choose and install dockers if you do.

 

That guide is a little out of date but the general idea is still good.

 

Post a screenshot of the settings you have for this docker, especially the volume mappings. Those are usually the thing people have problems with.

if you are going to use docker/containers.  You need to make sure you map your /config dir on the container to a cache drive.  This will assure your configurations will remain after a reboot.

 

Make sure to read up on the docker starter guide.

ok thanks this has been a bit of a learnig curve i know nothing about linux but i am very willing to learn so any help that can be giving would very appreciated.

No linux knowledge is particularily required at all.  If you have problems adding the container / having it remember its settings from boot to boot, you should post a screen shot of your config settings for when you go to add / edit the container.
