Asus M4A78-VM Testing

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I thought I'd share level one testing results for my unRAID system.

Over four months or so, it has grown from a two 1.5TB disk system to its current 7 disks.

I have tried most of the disk add, disk upgrade, upgrade parity, etc procedures outlined in the FAQ and they have all worked flawlessly.

A credit to Tom and the unRAID community.

Thanks

Mario

Just to let people know, I haven't been able to get wake on lan working on this MB  >:(

ASUS forums highlight several WOL problems with their boards  :'(

PS @ Egbert1965: I haven't tried using the power button for a gracefull shutdown.

PSPS

WOL isnt working with unRAID 4.4.2 (Kernel 2.6.26), while the driver for the onboard Altheros L1e wasnt added until 2.6.27 time to test the latest beta...
