Well, I did install it on my RC3. Works ok, but when I try to update using the scripts button I get one thing that has to be updated. Then I'll select update and I get this below:

Downloading myMain_local.conf
rev $Revision: 182 $ $Date: 2010-12-04 08:15:52 -0500 (Sat, 04 Dec 2010)$
5a0630afc49c196a23db71a5d02bf18f != a5d02879e3d52eb0dffda20f12d0111c or 7799da8e46bf08d7a328617cb1a48442,  /tmp/unmenu_tmp/myMain_local.conf not installed

--- End quote ---
That is not an issue.  That "_local" file will not be replaced on a "check for update" as it contains your local changes and additions YOU might have made.

The warning message you are getting is so you can compare and update your local file as appropriate.
(It might need no changes at all if you made no changes to it since initially installed)

barrygordon:
Joe,

Can unMenu coexsist with SimpleFeatures or are they mutuall exclusive under unRaid version 5.0 RC3 ?

Thanks

they can co-exist.
Obviously, do not install a package under unMENU if already in SimpleFeatures.

marcusone:
not sure if this has been talked about (as I can't seem to find it via search and i'm not reading 80 pages of posts, so sorry if it has been):

Under UnRaid 5rc4 - ESXi - pass-through of an M1015 works great, but unmenu doesn't read drive temps (where unraid has no issues getting drive temps).
Is there an easy fix?

unMENU uses "smartctl -a /dev/sdX"  to get drive temps.   What is the output on your drives?
