  1. I think I might have found the issue. Recently added zoneminder docker container. The file size of the events it was recording was huge. It is weird that my dashboard showed available memory (on the cache), but in reality my cache drive was full. Deleted the stored events, Restarted the plex docker app and it is running no problems. Now to figure out how to keep zoneminder from crashing my system with data. Thanks for all the help.
  2. It might be the cache drive. I just tried to rename the plexmediaserver folder on my cache drive to backup, so that I could try a totally clean install and I received an error. That there are zero bytes of space left. When I look at the cache drive in the dashboard, it looks all good. Plenty of space, and no errors on the smart device stuff.
  3. My server has been up and runing 6.1.3 with needoplex with no issues. Today the plexmediaserver stopped working. I have made no changes or touched anything and it had been working fine up to this point. The server is stuck in a loop with the repeating error below: Error: Unable to set up server: sqlite3_statement_backend::prepare: disk I/O error for SQL: PRAGMA cache_size=4000 6 3000 /config/Library/Application Support unlimited Any thoughts? I have tried stop/restarting the docker. re-installing the container, and re-installing the image and the container. I am unsure what happened. Thanks for the help.
  4. Hey Aptalca, Just playing around with the zoneminder app and I have a question. Can I change where the events are stored (ie. videos/imgs)? In the options menu it has a location listed as DIR_EVENTS and gives a warning about changing it from events. Can I just set up a share in Docker /events /mnt/user/zoneminder and then the events will go to that file? Thanks, Rick
  5. I was wondering if anyone was using Teamviewer to remote access their Xen unraid and what distro or setup you used to get it installed. I tried a couple and could not get it running. I am currently using a macbook to access my server remotely, using teamviewer, but would rather not have the macbook running all the time. Or if someone else has a better option, please advise. Thanks, Rick
  6. I was removing vm file from my cache drive, and accidentally removed my whole directory. So I have no more .iso / .cfg files for my vm's anymore. My Xen file (where my vm's were) was set up as cache only and since I have not got everything tweeked yet, I did not have a backup (stupid). But my tretflix vm is still running. Plex and downloaders are still working, which is nice. Can I save this vm state? or something to save from having to re set it up? Any ideas or help is appreciated. Thanks, Rick edit: A power outage solved my problem for me, I had already set up a back Tretflix, with new ISO and CFG file, and when I rebooted the server I just set everything back up again.
  7. I am the opposite. I want to be able to browse the plex files incase of a problem. I do not enjoy using terminal to access the arch vm to access the files for plex library. If I can leave them separate and in their current location and just direct arch plex to the files I would prefer it. If there is some reason I can not do that, cause it will create an issue, then I will follow the leaders. I just didn't understand, and being a slight noob, was hoping for clarification. If I can access my unraid share mounts and cache drive from inside arch, why would I copy all my plex files to a file inside arch, if I can just direct plex to the files I want to show it. ie. /net/server.ip/cache/appdata/plex/Application\ Support/ The reason I like it totally contained within the VM is because I was having issues mounting my unraid shares over NFS (incl the cache drive). To be honest after moving to samba mounts, I haven't had any issues and I could probably move it back to reading from the cache drive. But it works now and why mess with it... But if Plex has issues with the Unraid shares, then I can not get to my files. I am pretty sure the NFS issue will be resolved, but if I can point unraid to a unraid User Share for the movie data, why can I not point it to another share for it's library? Why do I have to create an data.img file for it? IB? SBD? NAS? GC?

  9. Just a general knowledge based question. Why do I have to create a 40gig (or whatever) data.img for plex in Arch when I can $ls /net/server.ip/mnt/cache/ etc. from arch and see my directory tree. I, like most of you, already have a file on my cache drive with my complete plex folder, library info etc. I do not see where I can modify my plex library info, to change the path for arch to /net/server.ip, so I would probably have to rescan my library after adding the channels in the arch plex setup. Is this just bad practice? impractical? cause read/write delays with arch?. Just seems like I am creating .img files for an arbitrary number, when my standard plex folder, on my cache, can expand and grow without any formal ceiling. I figure there must be a reason, but I didn't see any clarification in the 26 pages of post. Thanks, Rick
  10. The command should be xl create arch.cfg Not arch.img And I am an idiot. Thanks Freddie. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Ok, I will give it a shot tomorrow. I re-installed 5.0.5 to get all my stuff back up and running. I have a dedicated 6.0 beta file on my desktop so I can flip back in forth between stable and test. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hello fellow unraiders, Tried to install ArchVM and when I run the xl create arch.img I get this error. libxl_utils.c.319:libxl_read_file_contents: failed to read config file: arch.img: File too large It is installed on my cache drive, and I ran the VM from toms post in the 6.0 beta release, so I know I can run virtual machines. Unsure what the issue is, I followed the guide to the "t". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Rick
  13. Yep!, I think all the refugees from the Matrix will be looking into this very soon. Hopefully the community can hash it out...
  14. I just added a bunch of Music to my itunes server folder. How do I force the plugin to rescan my library? Thanks, Rick
