  1. I guess then i will just create a separate vlan for the unraid server and then only have the file servers be able to communicate with the Unraid Vlan.
  2. That is working fine for me. But i dont want other users on the network to probe or see that this server exists. But maybe i am over analyzing the situation.
  3. Hello, Is there any way i can restrict access to Unraid shares to only a few specific IP addresses on my network? We use this at our work for backups and i dont want everyone to be able to see or access the shares.
  4. I finally had time to restart the server. The problem is solved.
  5. I will try restarting the server and see if that helps
  6. All the boxes are checked already and still not showing
  7. I am using Unraid 6.12.3 and on the Dashboard page under the array widget it does not show the list of disks in the array anymore. It used to when i upgraded to 6.12.3 but all of sudden it is not working. What could be the solution? Attached is an image of what it used to look like. I have tried different browsers and clearing the cache but still not working. Only thing I haven't done is to restart the server.
  8. I have an existing Unraid array with dual parity and 28 data disks. I am going to use the new config tool to replace the dual parity disks with larger ones and change 4 data disks to larger ones. With the new config tool the parity will be rebuilt. So will the array be usable during this parity rebuild process? Also will i we able to use my existing virtual machines during the rebuild?
  9. I have an array of 28 Data disks and 2 parity disks. Both parity disks are 16tb. I want to replace both with 20TB drives. Also. i have a 4x 10TB data disks that i want to replace with 4x new 16TB drives (not the current parity drives) The data on the existing 4x 10TB disks is not important because it has been copied to other data disks in the array. So, if i use the new config tool to replace the parity disks and the 4x data disks at the same time, will that be allowed. I understand that there will be no parity protection while the new parity is being built. But can all these changes be made at once? Also will my existing shares remain intact?
  10. @JorgeB Thanks, i understand now. But i think it would be nice if there was an option in UnRaid to use TiB instead of TB. It makes it easier to deal with storing and planning out storage when copying data from WIndows or other TiB os'es.
  11. I have an unraid array with 18tb drives. Each drive is listed as 17.9TB free. The same drive in windows once formatted shows free as 16.3TB. So why do the drives in Unraid show so much free space? Is that the correct or should look at it in a different way? All the drives in my array are formatted using XFS
