apcupsd network help

I cannot get apcupsd to work on my second server. COuld anyone look over my settings to see what is wrong

Any help would be great.

I am using APCUPSD on my second server as a slave.  I have the primary server on a fixed IP address (assigned by the router), and using a manually specified IP address rather than the server name since the backup server was taking forever to see the primary.  So in my case I specified 192.168.0.36:3551. 

I am running the plug-in version of APCUPSD, so both UPS cable and UPS type are set to network in the configuration menu on the slave.

I tried using towers ip which is 192.168.123.104 and dtill not working.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I am using the version installed in unmenu.

apcupsd-3.14.3-i486-1kjz.tgz

Did you include the port :3551 ?

I am not so familiar with the version set up from unMenu.  I did use it one time, but only in master mode.

Well I removed everything and just left

192.168.123.104:3551

And it works!!!!!!

So

the correct settings are just

192.168.123.104:3551

or

tower:3551 for the first line
