Think the data might be more useful once they get larger numbers and brands of 8tb+ drives. Seagate st8000dm002 seems to be decent.

Some models bathtubs are much larger than others. 

Very true. I'd really like to see how the failure curves plot out over time when compared to their warranty period. Many years ago you could find drives with lengthy 3-5 year warranty, now a year or two seems to be the norm. I have a bunch of hgst 2tb, fairly sure they had 5 year back when I got them.
