phbigred
I was running troubleshooting mode due to issues in the past week, issue is a hard freeze of the OS, system is pingable only. All dockers, vms, and WebUI goes "dead". Unfortunately the diag at time of crash is 340KB. Recommendations on getting it uploaded for review by people smarter than I? Quote Link to comment

Squid
At work, so can't sit down and really analyse the syslogs, but one thing to do is update ca.backup. You're running a version that under certain circumstances would cause the backup to put all the logged lines into the syslog instead of the dedicated backup log. Quote Link to comment
phbigred
Got ca.backup updated, so that's fixed... Quote Link to comment

phbigred
Anyone have an idea other than the CA.backup app? I downgraded to 6.2.4 hoping for more stability but would like to bump back up. Quote Link to comment
Squid
Odds on its a hardware issue somewhere along the line. Whether that's from a buggy bios and using VM Passthrough or powersupply / memory / whatever its a guessing game with no outright This Is The Answer. Best place to start is run memtest for at least a single pass (24 hours preferable) When it does crash, is anything displayed on the local monitor? Also, is 6.2.4 more stable for you? phbigred
Hasn't happen since downgrading to 6.2.4. Grins and chuckles I swapped the servers ram completely. So it's very possible it was RAM before downgrading. Was hoping for a blaring red flag but your thoughts may have confirmed my suspicion. Thanks Squid, btw love your plugins! Quote Link to comment
