Converting is an option for simple movies, but half of the disks are tv series blurays, which contain multiple episodes, which will become 4 or 5 separate MKV's (and it takes a lot of work to rename them chronologically... stream 1 is episode 5, stream 4 is episode 3 etc) , or are music/concert bluray's, where you either create on huge mkv for the whole concert or make mkv's for each song. So converting is not really an option.

Ok... so this renders plex usesless for me then.

Like i said, the media are bluray and UHD ISO's and BDMV structures. No mp4 or dvd's. Just copies of actual Bluray's and UHD's. Each in a separate folder. I guess Plex can't handle bluray/UHD ISO's or BDMV structures?

I'm running this PlexMediaServer docker for the first time; i've succesfully added tvshows from my tvseries share, now i want to add a library for my movies share (which contains only Bluray and UHD ISO's and BDMV folder structures, but it will only add 5 movies... there are about a 130. I've already ran the new permissions tool, thinking it might be that, but it doesnt help. I've read about the movie names being named wrong, the name should contain a year? But plex adds existing movies without a year in its name correctly, and others which contain a year, it skips. What am i missing here?

    Temporary disable a disk, possible?

Ok, thanks guys! Will get a new 4TB drive tomorrow. I will do a preclear session (just 1 iteration) to make sure the drive is ok prior to rebuild.

    Temporary disable a disk, possible?

I will get a new disk first thing tomorrow One more question, you said it did not need formatting, the rebuild will create an exact copy. But my current disks are all ReiserFS. Isn't it better to move to XFS when replacing a disk?

ok, now you lost me... - disk5 has UDMA CRC errors, been there since march 2016, not growing (checked old smart reports) - disk6 has a growing reallocation sector count... I think we both mean disk6 needs replacement, right?

Really? I thought reallocated sectors is a sign of a failing disk? The last 2 days the reallocating sectors grew from 94 to 100 today.

    Temporary disable a disk, possible?

I do have another disk that unraid is warning about, it has UDMA CRC errors. I have seen that myself a long time ago, i think that was caused when a cable was not fitted perfectly after a cleanup of the servers internals... I have single parity; i was running V5 until last month. I didn't even know there was such thing as a 2nd parity disk until last week... I run a parity check every 1st of the month, always. So the quickest way would be to shut down the server, replace the disk with a new one, reboot and re-assign it to the slot of the former disk, and unraid will 'notice' this and formats the disk and rebuilds it? Problem disks are disk5 (CRC errors) and disk6( reallocated sectors) unraid-diagnostics-20180520-1705.zip
  10. I've got a disk which since yesterday, shows an increase in reallocated sectors, and unraid warns me about it. This disk has almost 50.000 hours of usage on it, so this needs to be replaced. I will buy a new disk, but this disk has to be precleared etc so this will take at least a couple of days before it is ready to be swapped. Is there some way i can prevent unraid from using the problematic disk? Like disable it?

    Include/exclude disks

Ok, so i'm overthinking it due to all the possibilities the GUI gives me. I think the GUI could (and should) be much simpler.

    Include/exclude disks

I'm always baffled by this option. To me, it is logical that if i include a specific disk, all others are excluded, and vice versa. But in the GUI you can include, ánd exclude disks, even the same disks! I can exclude disk2, ánd include disk2. What am i missing? I have 9 disks, and i have a share that i only want to persist on disk1. So what do i do, do i include disk1? Or exclude disk 2 - 9? Or both, and in that case, why? Wouldn't it be more sensible that if i include a disk in the first dropdown list, i can't select it in the other list, and vice versa? Or what does it mean if i include disk1, disk2, and exclude disk4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9? What happens with disk3? What am i not getting here?

    [Support] binhex - Sickbeard

I managed to call Sonarr's API series update command using a python script from within sabnzbd's post processing, so i have no need for the sickbeard plugin anymore I would rather use sickrage, but sickrage somehow keeps downloading episodes which i set to ignore or skipped. So for now, Sonarr it is.

    [Support] binhex - Sickbeard

Come on, i've been running unraid v5 over 5 years pretty much non-stop, 24/7 with plugins like sabnzbd, sickbeard, squeezeserver and some other ones. Once i get sonarr's api under control, i switch to sonarr.
