either :-), if you're new then why not the web ui, its easier eh.

try stopping the container then delete everything in /config for this container, then start it again, that should get it running, obviously you will need to rescan your library.

actually my faq is not correct (sorry strike i know you were quoting from my faq), these are mac os resource fork files being generated, i noticed your post and i have enhanced my code to remove these files as they are basically apple crap, or crapple if you like :-), new image should be up later today, in the meantime you could manually get running by cd /config/openvpn and then run the following command:- rm -f ._*.ovpn then restart the container. p.s removed the entry from the faq as its now handled automagically :-). p.p.s for those who want to learn a bit more:-

iptable_mangle support will not stop torrents from starting, that only prevents you accessing the web ui from outside your lan. i would guess that your issue is probably related to either running out of disk space on your host, or misconfigured volume mappings, such that the downloads are getting stored inside the loopback mounted docker image (unraid users only) so check for these things.

sorry, i must of been looking at another log from a previous issue. ok so thats a successful start, so my guess would be you havent defiend your LAN_NETWORK correctly, taken from your logs:- LAN_NETWORK defined as '' are you sure this is correct?, take a look here Q3. for help on how to work it out if your unsure:-

it's fully automated, it will happen.

you have VPN_OPTIONS defined as 'no', don't do this, this is used to pass additional options to openvpn, 'no' is unsurprisingly not a valid option :-)

this indicates the vpn tunnel connection was down, if you are 100% sure your internet connection is solid with no outages then i can only assume the issue was a transitory one at the vpn provider end, btw if you leave the container it will recover from this, there is code in place to re-connect the tunnel after a time period, from memory i think its 10 mins.

instead of the above, try setting LAN_NETWORK to <your static ip for your vps>/32 what this in effect does is gives you a lan network consisting of one host ip, in your case your public ip, if this doesn't work then im afraid for now i don't currently have time to work on it so you will have to figure it out yourself.

Never seen that, but tbh 99% of the time I'm using dsub android app, maybe try clearing the cookie for the site and ensure its not a chrome extension blocking something, temporarily disable all extensions maybe Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Lesson learned perhaps is use CA backup to backup your config of your dockers eh [emoji41] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

what you need in essence is the exact same setup as home LAN or work LAN, you need a host that has a private network and has a route out to the internet, im not sure what exactly a "root server" is, im assuming they mean a server you can connect to as user "root" by that, but im only guessing, that won't help you though.

ahh, thats your issue then, the iptable rules i have in place do not currently play nicely with a VPS, it's something ive not looked into tbh as its potentially a fair chunk of work, so right now im afraid your out of luck, you need to run this on a host that has a dedicated private network as well as internet connectivity.
