Deleted a 18gb file but parity didn't spinup

I deleted from a user share. I looked for the file on the specific disk and the user share and it can't be found. Can I get into the cache pool?

Deleted a 18gb file but parity didn't spinup

er..... I deleted a big file and parity drive did not spin up to make changes.
  3. According to unraid gui no writes were done to that data hdd. After a while of still no parity spinup, I then created a folder in a share, parity spun up and wrote to another hdd but still no writes on the previous hdd with the 18gb file. The 18gb file has gone according to the unraid gui. Is this normal?

Using an internal usb 2.0 has resolved the problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Whats happening on my syslog?

I rebooted the server and tried a different usb 3.0 (there are no usb 2.0 ports) and still the same problem.

    Server reshuffle

Wow. Just re-read this topic. So I went from a massive and heavy Norco 20 bay rack case to a Fractal R5 to a Silverstone DS380 and now I am using a Qnap 653A. The Qnap is slightly less than half the size of the Silverstone and much more underpowered specs wise. The hdds are nosier in the Qnap too but the cooling is better. 8. The following are the Unraid server specs: Silverstone DS380B Case £100 delivered. Nanoxia Deep Silence 120mm PWM x 3 £8 each. Asrock C236 WSI Motherboard £120 delivered. Hdds not included. Unraid software not included. Included are boxes for each item in the specs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New QNAP build. Syslog needs checking

Thanks. New diagnostic file added. Please can someone check this again? And there is something strange at the end of the syslog. unraid-diagnostics-20180326-2220.zip

New QNAP build. Syslog needs checking

I did the Replace Key procedure already on my new usb and its ready to go. Unfortunately I don't have a spare old hdd to test. I am not good at reading syslogs either!

New QNAP build. Syslog needs checking

To clarify. I have data drives with lots of data that I am moving from the server in my signature to the QNAP. I am downsizing. And I also replaced USBs. The one in my QNAP right now is an old blacklisted one. I got to the GUI fine. Just want to know if there is anything to worry about in the QNAP syslog?
  14. Hello. I have moved to a new QNAP build. Please can you check my diagnostic and syslog file for any problems before I put my hdds in? unraid-diagnostics-20180326-1220.zip unraid-syslog-20180326-1220.zip
