    Hi, my quad-intel-nic still not arrived. But I am reading niw on how to set it up. A quick question. I am planning on assigning the Intel nic to this VM (passthrough). So, how should I proceed (right after starting the VM for the first time and first setup)? I guess I need to: -assign 1 of the 4 ports to the wan(but where do I setup this .. in unraid>network settings? -assign another port of the nic to the lan Maybe someone already posted a guide for doing this in a VM in unraid?   4. Hi! Cannot find any guide for setting up a pfsense vm in unraid! What template should I choose? Anyone has a custom one that can share? I tried with FreeBSD but once install GUI appears it says disk not present. Any ideas how to solve this? Rgds.
  5. Hi, I am testing the performance of Unraid in my network and would like to check if it is ok. Unraid and laptop wired and connected to a gigabit switch. Both are using gigabit adapters. I did run 2 tests: iperf3 -c 192.168.1.39 -t 10 -P 10 unraid > laptop (server listening) laptop > unraid (server listening) Let me know if I need to run more tests. What do you think about these results?

  12. Hi, I am trying to follow Ed's tutorial... https://youtu.be/J_cRe__c3Mc. Currently stuck where I try to test the installed VM. The error I get is that authentication fails. Maybe I did not write user+password properly. Anyone can confirm how to write it in the login file. Password 122 or password=122 or ... ?
