betaman
I'm trying to setup a new server and I can't seem to download anything from here: http://lime-technology.com/download/ Not sure if it's my problem or on Tom's side but transfer is only about 35kb/sec and eventually just times out?! Can anyone else confirm the issue? In the worst case, would someone with dropbox mind sending me a link? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
toby9999
This is the exact same problem I have every time I try to download something from that site. To solve it, I stop everything else using my internet connection (ie I stop all other traffic, downloads etc) then I just try a few times and eventually I'll get a download that completes fully 100%. If any troubles, send me a PM and I'll email the file to you - I have RC16, 5.0, 5.02-RC1. Quote Link to comment
betaman
Thanks again for e-mailing the files to me. I wonder what the root cause of the issue is?!?! Quote Link to comment
garycase
The downloads seem to work some days; not others. I was at a friend's a couple weeks ago, and tried several times to download UnRAID -- all unsuccessful. I assumed it was an issue with his connection; but when I got home I had the same problem. Later that evening, it worked fine. In the past couple weeks, there have been numerous reports of download problems - and I had the same issue last night downloading the newest version. There is clearly SOMETHING wrong with the download servers that LimeTech is using. Hopefully this will be resolved in the near future. Quote Link to comment
lt10840
I also have really hard time to retrieve the latest build - not been able to successfully download it. The download server just seems to disconnect for some reason. Quote Link to comment
